Policy

was looking at the workhorse of the election of Berlusconi and center-right in general: "abolish the ICI on the first house."
Perfect, the center-right won the elections and (very strange thing for an Italian political party) holds the promise, the ICI will be borne nn more about our pockets.
good, all happy, it was about time someone in government to do something to increase a little purchasing power of Italian families.
But then it turns out that the ICI is a municipal tax, and that as such, does not burden the state budget but on the town. Never mind, the state will undertake to compensate at least in part to prevent the municipalities fail, for example increasing the share that the city receives annually from the state ... yes, pure fantasy.
Municipalities were left to themselves, they were told that they are free to ask other taxes in order to recoup losses, perfect, so the government will have been a God on earth that made it possible for us voters, whereas the Mayors will go to the despots who oppress the people.
Want an example?? To the coffers of the Municipality of Settimo Milanese, thanks to this brilliant, miss € 1,700,000 (imagine what the municipality of Milan or Rome).
The budget must be balanced at the end (hopefully) and this will lead to two possibilities, or the increase in other council tax (a tax on waste) or decrease the budget for the management of the municipality (ie less money for street cleaning, for the work of Maintenance of roads, buildings and parks, to create new areas green, etc ...).
The municipality had invested € 500,000 on the new nursery, and now finds itself without funds.
In light of this, are not so convinced that the abolition of the ICI has been a good thing.
And you? What do you think?

PS Chicca, the story of a gypsy camp is bufula big as a house, there will be a youth hostel built for the fair and the Expo (it also wanted to make a bike path passing through the canyon Vighignolo linking Rho and Pero).

PPS by Corriere della Sera: "The Italian magistrates, from tonight (July 5, 2008), enter into a state of agitation, and reserves the adoption of other measures to protest the government action in the justice sector. These include the suspension of trials, the provisions on wiretapping, the cutting of resources to the justice sector and the pay cut introduced by .69 of dl 112 (known as Decree maneuver). The ANM has also called permanent seat in the Steering Committee Central. "
much talk of security, and then remove funds and assets to the field of justice? Well, I'll be stupid do not understand!
